Awake (All Levels)
Wake up your body and mind with a fresh, energizing morning practice. Preparing for the day, this class will:
- Energize and refresh you
- Stimulate blood flow
- Awaken the muscles
Foundations (All Levels)
Your journey starts here. Learn the basics and foundational yoga poses.
- You will learn the fundamental yoga postures, breathing mechanics and philosophy to create a strong and safe foundation that you can take into any group class or when practicing on your own.
- You will learn how to make yoga appropriate for YOU whether it is your first time, or a chance to review.
Hatha (All Levels)
In Asana practice postures are designed to open the many channels of the body—especially the main channel, the spine—so that energy can flow freely. This class focuses on more subtle alignments of the spine and is a good classes for any one who doesn’t like to rush but prefers getting to know the pose. Go inward and connect with the body on a more subtle layer. Hatha yoga is the base of all our classes.
Release (All Levels)
Let go. Lengthen and relax with restorative, held postures.
- Creates deeper openings for hamstrings, hips, pelvis, and spine to safely lengthen the connective tissues in your body.
- Challenges the body _ mind to create peace and calming by holding poses from 3-5 minutes
- Includes a strong breath component
EmPower (All Levels)
Focus on strength and stability, both physically and mentally. An energizing class for those who enjoy challenging their capacity. Classes focus on increasing strength, stamina and purification.
Core Strength (All Levels)
Strengthen your inner core and build awareness of your core as a whole.
- Grounding with an emphasis on the exhale techniques.
- Build core strength and side body lengthening.
- Create space for your vital organs.
Strength _ Length (All Levels)
A path toward creating balance and uniting opposites. This class offers a harmonious balance of effort and ease. In our physical bodies and in our minds we develop a balance of strength and flexibility. A class that offers the best of both worlds.
Flow (All Levels)
Feel connected. Fluid and dynamic, this class – Uses the breath to synchronize movement – Increases life force energy – Builds breath capacity.
Flow+More (All Levels)
A dynamic flow class that builds strength, flexibility and stamina while reducing stress by focusing the mind and lengthening the breath. Some other Yoga tools such as meditation and pranayama are also introduced.
Yoga Nidra (All Levels)
This is a practice of effortlessness and awareness fusing two practices: restorative yoga and yoga nidra. In the first part of the class, seated postures are held to help release tension in the joints. The second part is based on the ancient practice of yoga nidra, combining a guided meditation and deep relaxation. This practice helps to rekindle your inner spark through relieving tension and undoing the effects of stress through a systematic relaxation of the body and mind.
Tantra Hatha Yoga (Intermediate)
Tantra Hatha yoga incorporates some advanced practices that are designed to cultivate, build and move prana or life force energy throughout the body and mind. The instruction given during this class focuses on breath, visulization and meditation techniques to create an experience of pranic forces and it’s affect on health and longevity. Good for those who have stability in their postures and are looking to deepen the energetic effect of practice.
Strength _ Length II (Intermediate)
Same as our Strength _ Length, only this time we build up to a specific “goal posture”. A fun and play-full challenge for those comfortable with their physical capacity and are curious about deepening their Asana practice. Phases and variations will be given, as always.
